When Prayer Changes – Jasmine’s Journey of Healing
Yesterday I had the privilege of sharing a message with the Olney Seventh-day Adventist Church. As I studied and prepared to share my journey of praying God’s Word there were three things that I realized I have learned.
When I pray Scriptures my prayers feel empowered and complete.
When I see Jesus in my prayers through the Word of God I don’t need to see my answers to believe.
Prayer is all about being in the presence of God.
When I share with others how the Word of God has changed the way I pray, I am filled with a sense of peace and faith because it confirms that it’s what God is calling me to do.
The Scripture that gives me hope tonight as I pray is Psalm 31:3: “God, I thank You that you are Jasmine’s strong shelter and hiding place on high. You are pulling her into victory and breakthrough.” As I visualize what it looks like for her to have God as her shelter and hiding place I can rest because I know she’s safe. She’s safe because she is with Him.
