The Heart of it all – Jasmine’s Journey of Healing

“If we want to understand and learn to walk in the healing anointing, we must first recognize the importance of keeping our focus squarely  on the heart of the gospel.  The heart of the gospel is nothealing.  The heart of the gospel is not signs and wonders.  The heart of the gospel is not even the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  The heart of the gospel is Jesus Christ.  It is only as we clearly proclaim Christ first and foremost that we will experience signs and wonders following.”  (The Hidden Power of Healing Prayer by Mahesh Chavda)

Have you ever read something and it connected so deeply with what you were searching for that you almost came up off your chair?  That’s what has been happening to me time and again as I have been reading Pastor Chavda’s book.

Right now I’m in the Netherlands with Chris, our daughter, and a friend of hers.  Yesterday morning when Chris and I woke up we went to the ship’s restaurant to have coffee together.  I took my book with me to read while he checked messages on his phone.  What I began to read had such a profound affect on me that I had to share it with Chris.  You see, I have been praying for a greater anointing of the Holy Spirit so that He can lead me in how I pray for Jasmine and others who need healing.  Chavda’s book is laying out for me what the journey looks like not only to be anointed, but to live and minister in that anointing.  I want to know and live in the heart of God and the best representation of His heart is Jesus.  I am believing that the Holy Spirit will give me greater and greater revelation of Who Jesus is and then through my love for Him the Holy Spirit will empower me to speak God’s will with authority each time I pray.

How do we bring Scriptures to life within us? There are many beautiful ways to spend time with God through His Word. One of my favorite is to take Scriptures and confess them over my life. For examp
