Push or Position? – Jasmine’s Journey of Healing

When the answer for something you are praying about and believing for takes time it’s important to keep your faith strong.  One of the ways that I love to focus on the power and love of God is through worship.  Recently I was listening to an artist sing and during the song she spoke about how our faith in miracles doesn’t come from our “push” but from our “position”.

Gd has been stirring things up in my heart from her testimony.  On the days when Jasmine is experiencing more pain or exhaustion it would be all too easy to become frustrated because I’m trying to push myself into God’s favor and healing for her.  But that’s not where the power is.  The power is how I am positioned in His presence.  Psalm 119:38 says, “Reassure me of your promises, for I am your beloved, your servant who bows before you.”

As I get into position by breathing in the Holy Spirit and speaking out the promises of God He reassures me of His promises.  He reassures me that He is faithful.  He is all powerful.  And He is love.  Then I find myself responding with unbelievable worship and awe. Bowing before my Almighty Father I am positioned to hear His heart of love as I praise Him for the beautiful work He is doing in my daughter’s life.
