Love Has a Name – Jasmine’s Journey of Healing
I’ve been traveling a lot so it’s been a few weeks since I’ve written in my blog, but God has been stirring things in my heart as I’ve continued to study and seek His heart of healing.
The most recent update on Jasmine is that we finally got in to see the doctor at the clinic where she’s been continuing to receive her IV vitamin C treatments here in Maryland. Dr Mark Sivieri is a passionate and brilliant doctor who knows so much about helping the body heal itself. He has successfully treated many patients who battled with lyme disease. He is adding more wholistic treatments to her IV’s and we have faith that God is using him to continue to heal her.
On the spiritual side of things I have been reading some incredible books by Mahesh Chavda and as I apply what I’m learning to my life it is making me more and more hungry to live and minister with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Right now I’m in Turkey with my husband, Chris. As we traveled here I saw several different people who were suffering with physical conditions. The one that broke my heart the most was a child laying back in a wheelchair with a breathing tube inserted into his throat. As I walked passed him there was a deep regret inside me because I longed to walk over to touch his body with my hands and his spirit with the name of Jesus. I know it’s the Holy Spirit stirring up the desire to go deeper with God and to not only understand the process of healing,,but to live it out.
There are three things that really jumped out at me as I read Chavda’s book on healing. He writes that to live in the anointing of the Holy Spirit (which is required before God can use you to heal people) you have to incorporate three things in your life.
Take the time every day to confess your sins before God.
Make Jesus the focal point of your life.
Continue to grow in your relationship with the Holy Spirit
In the New Testament signs and wonders always followed the passionate preaching of the gospel. When the name of Jesus is lifted high the response from heaven is the glory of God that brings grace and healing. That is what I am hungry for.
I want to encourage you to go to youtube and watch “Love Has a Name” by Jesus Culture. Listening to powerful songs like this one brings me to a deeper place of worship as I focus on the beauty of Who Jesus is.
“We will fix our eyes on the One who overcame
We wil stand in awe of the One who breaks the chains
