Jesus, Arise – Jasmine’s Journey of Healing

Today I am taking Jasmine in to see her wholistic doctor. She had 2 bad flare ups recently and we are concerned about her condition. A “flare up” for her involves so much pain and inflammation in her entire body that she can’t get out of bed and she loses her will to fight the lyme she’s battling with. She also loses her will to live because she is overwhelmed as she feels that this is what the rest of her life will look like.

As her mom, these flare ups break my heart like nothing else can. To see your child suffer to the point that she would rather die than live is devastating beyond description. I know that some of you understand this all too well. I’m sorry for what you’re going through.

As we meet with her doctor today we will go over her treatment plan and see what can be changed or added to help her body heal.

I also have incredible friends who are praying for her. My dear friend, Renee, took the time to write up 2 pages of scripture prayers and sent them to me and some of our other friends to intercede on Jasmine’s behalf.

These are some of my favorites:

Jasmine is fearfully and wonderfully made. Let her body function in the wonderful way You designed it to function. (Psalms 139:14)

Jesus, arise over Jasmine’s life with healing in Your wings. (Mal. 4:2).

Lord, let Your hand establish Jasmine, and let Your arm strengthen Jasmine. (Psalms 89:21).

I would appreciate all of your prayers as we meet with her doctor today and continue to believe that God’s Word is full of power and healing for her.

I work for a doctor's office and it's interesting to observe how people "wait" differently. Some people walk in the door already anxious, asking how long the appointment will take because they have so

How do we bring Scriptures to life within us? There are many beautiful ways to spend time with God through His Word. One of my favorite is to take Scriptures and confess them over my life. For examp

"Every day I need to make room for the Holy Spirit to speak to me in such a way that my life is a testimony of His grace." (A W Tozer) There is a deep and beautiful connection between the Holy Spirit
