Haven't Seen it Yet - Jasmine's Journey of Healing
I am learning during this journey. If you have to wait I think it's important to "wait well". I'm not saying there won't be really hard times that will leave us feeling like we can't do this another day, but what's important is to know the tools to use so the next time the sun comes up we can get out of bed and keep believing.
One of the biggest tools I use is worship. Worship is such a huge part of my life that often I wake up and the Holy Spirit begins playing a song in my head. This morning I woke up with the song "Haven't Seen it Yet" by Danny Gokey (one of my favorite artists!) I went to my prayer room, put on my headphones and began my time with God soaking in the music and message from that song. Music is powerful and healing. The lyrics that grew my hope today were "It's like the brightest sunrise waiting on the other side of the darkest night...
He is moving with a love so deep. Hallelujah for the victory!"
I love to use worship as prayer. While listening to this song I lifted Jasmine to God. I visualized the sunrise of her miracle and saw the deep love of God surround her. Worship opens up a deep place in our hearts which is a beautiful place to pray from.
The other tool I'm using is to dig deeper in the Word to understand God's healing touch. I mentioned in my last blog that my husband and I are reading "Operating in the Courts of Heaven" by Robert Henderson. It's opening up to us another whole realm of prayer. It's where we go to plead our case when years of struggling in prayer don't seem to be working. The Bible is clear that there are times when the enemy blocks our prayers because he tries to prove a legal right in our lives. It's too much to explain here, but there's a process that we are learning. It's about coming before God as our judge to break the hold of the enemy so that healing can come.
So today I am filled with hope. Hallelujah for the victory!
