Facing My Fear – Time to Get Real!

As I was spending time with God this morning I felt impressed to begin a new journal. I journal a lot for different purposes and so I’m excited to write down what God is calling me to – Scriptures about fear and anxiety. I believe that if I spend time every day writing down, reading out loud, and praying these Scriptures it will invite God’s power and peace into my life at a new level. When I do my pool dives in August and my ocean dives in September I can be reciting these Scripture prayers so that God’s peace within me will be greater than any fear or anxiety that comes against me.

So let’s get started…

“So don’t be afraid. I am here with you:; don’t be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, help you. I am here with My right hand to make right and to hold you up.” (Isaiah 41:10, The Voice)

Here’s how I would make this Scripture a prayer…

God, I am choosing to not be afraid because I know that you are right here with me. You are strengthening me and helping me right now. Thank You for making the wrong things in my life right for holding me up.
