Communication & Action

“Boundaries need to be communicated first verbally and then with actions. They need to be clear and unapologetic.” (Boundaries p. 165)

Communication is key to setting healthy boundaries. If we struggle with clear communication then it’s important to have a mentor or counselor who can walk us through the steps of growth that we need. It doesn’t make sense to try and set healthy boundaries if we can’t communicate those boundaries and be prepared to follow through with action. These are areas that I am growing in and I’m realizing that I’m becoming a better person through this process.
