Are we Settling? - Jasmine's Journey of Healing

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 (NIV)

A thief has only one thing in mind - he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect - life in its fullness until you overflow! John 10:10 (TPT)

The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance. John 10:10 (Voice)

As I read the different versions of this Scripture I pray for the Holy Spirit to give me revelation of God's Word for Jasmine's life. This goes hand in hand with what I wrote about yesterday when Jesus announced that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I don't believe that these promises apply only to our lives in heaven. Why? Because Jesus used His time and ministry to bring life and healing while He was here. He also told us before He returned to heaven to continue the work He began. If miracles aren't happening in our churches and our lives it's not due to a lack on God's part; the fault is our own. I want to have the kind of faith through my oneness with God that will shake this planet with His power so that He can see His kingdom spread to every corner of the earth He created.

I believe that this will begin with Jasmine's miracle. I heard Joyce Meyer preach once that she would rather pray for everything and receive half of it than pray for nothing and get all of it. I am taking God at His Word for Jasmine's life. He did not create her to suffer. He created her to reflect His glory. As we see her miracle unfold we will tell the world of her story and reveal a God Who loves and Who heals.

I work for a doctor's office and it's interesting to observe how people "wait" differently. Some people walk in the door already anxious, asking how long the appointment will take because they have so

How do we bring Scriptures to life within us? There are many beautiful ways to spend time with God through His Word. One of my favorite is to take Scriptures and confess them over my life. For examp

"Every day I need to make room for the Holy Spirit to speak to me in such a way that my life is a testimony of His grace." (A W Tozer) There is a deep and beautiful connection between the Holy Spirit
